Welcome to The Association of Nordic Music Academies!

The Association of Nordic Music Academies, ANMA, will through collaboration promote high standards in higher music education in the Nordic countries. The Nordic Academies, Colleges and Schools of higher education in Music are members of the association.

ANMA will provide a forum for consideration of common issues concerning higher education in music and provide a coordinating body for Nordic projects of cooperation. ANMA will in connection to the annual meetings of the ANMA council arrange conferences to keep up the association as a vital forum for further development in higher education in music.

The ANMA web-pages will give you information about ANMA activities and other common activities within higher education in music in the Nordic countries. Here you will find links to all member institutions and other important organizations.

The Norwegian Academy of Music will from 2008-2011 have the secretariat of ANMA with Rector Eirik Birkeland as elected Secretary General.
